MobisparkBook a demo

Your Shopify store,
as a real app.

Mobispark turns a Shopify store into a native iOS and Android app, and puts the whole thing in your admin. Compose the home screen from sections, preview it on a phone, publish. No release cycle, no developer, no design sprint.

How it works

Compose, preview, publish.

The loop a merchant actually runs, and the reason changing the app does not mean shipping a new build.

01

Compose

Build the home screen from sections: drag to reorder, set the content, pick the animation. The same mental model as editing a theme, inside the admin you already use.

02

Preview

Your draft renders in a phone frame beside the editor, reading the real draft configuration through a tokenised endpoint. What you see is what the app will draw.

03

Publish

Publishing snapshots the configuration and pushes it to every installed app. No app-store submission, no waiting for review, and every previous version is one click away.

The section library

31 sections, not one template.

A home screen is assembled from sections, the same way a theme is. Each one takes an entrance animation, so the result can feel designed rather than stacked.

What you get

Everything the app needs, in the admin you already use.

01

A section library, not a template

31 section types across merchandising, shoppable media, persuasion and utility. Every section takes an entrance animation, so a home screen can feel designed rather than assembled.

  • 31 section types
  • Five entrance animations
  • Drag to reorder, edit in place
  • New sections publish safely to older app builds
02

Branding that every section inherits

Colour schemes work the way Shopify themes do: define a few, then assign one per section. Typography comes from a curated Google Fonts set, so a merchant picks a brand typeface from a shortlist rather than scrolling fifteen hundred rows.

  • Reusable colour schemes
  • Curated Google Fonts typography
  • App-wide opening animation
  • Inherited by every section
03

Navigation merchants already know

The menu builder edits a flat list with a depth per row (drag up and down to reorder, sideways to nest) exactly like Shopify's own navigation editor. Three levels deep, stored nested for the app to render.

  • Flat editing, nested output
  • Three levels of depth
  • Images and display options per item
  • Mirrors Shopify's nav editor
04

Push notifications, including geofenced

Send campaigns per store, and trigger them when a customer arrives somewhere. Locations are stored as coordinates: the merchant pastes a Google Maps link and Mobispark extracts the point, because asking someone to transcribe a latitude is how you get a geofence in the wrong country.

  • Push campaigns per store
  • Location-triggered notifications
  • Paste a Google Maps link to set a geofence
  • No push certificates for merchants to provision
05

Publish without holding your breath

Every publish is a snapshot. If a launch reads wrong on a real phone, restore the previous version in one click: no rebuild, no resubmission, no waiting for review.

  • Versioned publishes
  • One-click rollback
  • Draft and published kept separate
  • Changes reach installed apps immediately
06

Built as a Shopify app should be

Embedded in the admin with Polaris and App Bridge, reading products and collections through the Admin API, and uploading images into the merchant's own Shopify Files rather than a bucket we control.

  • Embedded admin app (Polaris, App Bridge)
  • Images stored in your Shopify Files
  • Minimum API scopes requested
  • Native iOS and Android from one configuration

FAQ

Questions we get asked.

Something not covered here? Ask us directly.

Do I need a developer?
Not to run it. Mobispark is edited entirely from your Shopify admin: sections, branding, menus and notifications. Getting your app into the App Store and Google Play is a one-off publishing step we handle with you.
Does changing the app mean a new release?
No. The app reads its configuration over the air, so publishing a change reaches every installed app immediately. App store review is only involved when the app binary itself changes.
What happens to shoppers mid-update?
Nothing breaks. The configuration API is versioned, and apps ignore section types they were not built to draw. That means new sections can be published before every customer has updated their app.
Where does my content live?
Images are uploaded into your own Shopify Files, and products, collections and menus are read from your store through Shopify's Admin API. Your catalogue stays the source of truth.
Is it on the Shopify App Store?
Not yet. Mobispark is currently an Unlisted app installed by request while it runs on live stores. A public listing is planned; book a demo in the meantime.
Who builds it?
Mobispark is built by The Onyx Grid, the e-commerce software studio of BNB INVEST FZE. The same team runs the stores it was built for.
